GREEN PISTACHIO OF BRONTE DOP
The green Pistachio of Bronte, unique and precious, is also known as “green gold” for the high commercial value and rarity in the taste and flavor that distinguishes it from all other products, in fact, has color, and organoleptic qualities that make it a unique example in the world.
Introduced in Sicily by the Arabs, grows on the lava grounds of Bronte, a town on the slopes of mount Etna. His collection is manually done every two years. The green pistachio of Bronte, perpetually threatened by imports of a quality absolutely lower, has today won the european recognition of product D. O. P. Also, he got another recognition from the Slow Food presidium.
ALMONDS FROM NOTO
The almond is the protagonist of the sicilian pastry, brought to the island by the arabs.
Monil has favored the use of the Almond of Noto, the best variety takes the name of Roman, one of the best almond as it has excellent organoleptic properties, hence its recognition of the Presidio slow food.
The cultivar is Known, in which the collection takes place annually in the summer period, in a manual way, it has a very limited production. It has an intense flavour and aroma, and the color pinkish white.
EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL SICILIAN OLIVE OIL
Monil uses only extra virgin olive oil Italian.
Oil that is cold extracted a few hours after collection from the best sicilian olives harvested by hand. It is not filtered to enhance the delicate flavor and texture.
